We left Paradise, WA , took Ali to Ellensburg, WA to stay with
the Chimps and then we drove through Idaho
to Paradise Montana and stayed at a lodge with a hot spring. I was pretty used
to driving really fast by the end of the first day! Early the next morning I saw
a bald eagle flying across from our lodge by the Flathead River just before it
joined the Clark fork of the Columbia River..
Montana is a State of panoramas!

Looking down on a herd of Bison above a valley with the Clark Fork River
running through it.. During glaciation periods, it was filled with water forming
a deep lake well above where the picture was taken from.
These guys (and gals) looked like they might want to come our direction for a
minute.
