Day 3 of the Paleo - Geology Trip

Dinosaurs fossils in outcrop of the lower Cretaceous Cedar Mountain Formation SE of Price.
All we brought back of dinosaur ones was pictures as you are not allowed to remove them.

Joe said 'behind every tree in this part of the country is a beautiful woman'.
Since trees are few & far between, a bunch of men explored this one :-)

Examining the Mancos Shale* (late Cretaceous seaway) and collecting marine invertebrates
*Upper Cretaceous Period, late Cenomanian through Middle Turonian.  : 99-90 million years ago
