Scarlet Macaw near Copan
One of our 'friends' near Copan
this caterpillar was about 6 to 8 inches long
and they liked to congregate together all lined up on a tree.
A very brightly colored grasshopper kind of bug

A silhouette of a MotMot.. It was brightly colored but I was unable to get a
picture of it in the light

A spider hunting by the water. This guy was about
8-10 inches across. The reflection in his eyes of the flash can be
seen. You can also see another reflection under the rock near him,
undoubtedly another spider. When walking at night with those lights
that go on your head you can see thousands of spider eyes reflecting
back at you. |
